 INSTRUCTIONS

Week 1
During the first week, we attended an online briefing conducted by Dr. Noorhayati Saad, Dr. Yip Jinchi, and Mr. Mohd Asrizal Razali. The session introduced the module details, expectations, and assessment rubric. As part of the learning activities, we were tasked with watching a recorded lecture on Writing a Research Dissertation, retrieving relevant notes from MyTimes and Microsoft Teams, and viewing a supplementary lecture video on YouTube. Additionally, we were encouraged to revisit the research methodology concepts covered in the previous semester for a comprehensive understanding.

Week 2
We are required to begin drafting the introduction section of our dissertation, which will be reviewed by Mr. Mohd Asrizal Razali in the following week. The content for the introduction can be referenced from the research methodology material covered in the previous semester.

Week 3
This week, Mr. Mohd Asrizal Razali introduced a Doc Sheet and an online meeting booking system to enhance workflow efficiency. The Doc Sheet facilitates the documentation of our to-do lists, while the booking system enables us to schedule consultations with him on Microsoft Teams by selecting preferred meeting times. Access to the necessary documents has also been granted.

Week 4
This week's lecture focused on the requirements for the literature review section of our dissertations. The session covered essential elements such as structuring the review, incorporating charts, identifying research gaps, and addressing motion capture sessions. Additionally, we were encouraged to identify and critically discuss five key research articles to support our problem statement and research questions.

Week 5
During Week 5, Mr. Mohd Asrizal Razali reviewed my draft dissertation progress and provided detailed explanations regarding the requirements for the literature review section. He also used my peers' work as examples to clarify expectations and offer additional guidance.

Week 6-9

Week 10
This week, we attended a lecture on Project 2: Visual Design for our research dissertation. Project 2 / Visual Design Publication

We are required to design a visual book based on our literature review. To begin the process, I decided to create a mood board to establish a clear design direction before proceeding with the visual book layout.

I have begun designing my visual book using Adobe Illustrator, drawing inspiration from the research conducted for my mood board. I am brainstorming design concepts and systematically working through each step to develop and refine the final outcome.

Week 13 / Visual Design - Finalized Visual Book

By Week 13, I had nearly completed the visual book design and began the finalization process. To convert it into a fully interactive visual book, I exported the design as a PDF and imported it into FlipHTML5 for further enhancements.

After exporting the design to PDF, I began applying it to FlipHTML5 to transform it into a fully interactive visual book. This is the final step before completing the visual book.
